A manufacturing company located in the Toronto area is in search of a Custom Product Development Representative for a one year maternity leave contract.
Requirements:
- Work with dealers, designers and sales agents to satisfy requirements using custom products
- Modify standard products or specifications in an effort to use standard product according to the project parameter relating to budget, time schedules and design requirements.
- Research custom products to meet specific customer needs.
- Create database and establish cost and list price.
Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma
- Minimum 2 years office environment
- Experience in the furniture manufacturing industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of JD Edwards an asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude. Good math skills - units of measure.
- Customer service, accounting or engineering experience helpful
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Working Hours:
08:30 - 17:00
