Paying cash is illegal. We pay by cheque or direct deposit, and all government deductions are included.
What are the office hours?
Unlike most 9:00am - 5:00pm agencies, Armor People Link is available in person from 6:00am until 8:00pm and we also have a 24 pager.
What are the pay frequencies?
We pay weekly.
What do we do if there is an emergency and we cannot make it into work but the office is close?
We have a 24 hour answering machine that you can leave us a message.
What kind of positions do you have?
We have various positions including; Office, Clerical, General Labor, Shipping, Receiving, Order Filling, Packing, Material Handling, Welding, Electrician, CNC Operator, Fork Lift, Raymond Reach, TIG.
Do you pay for stat holidays?
Do you provide carpool for positions that are not TTC accessible?
If there is a business case, i.e. enough volume, than we can make the appropriate arrangements.
Is there a dress code for when we report to work?
Yes, depending on the position.
Where will I be working if you find a placement for me?
We have various clients in Etobicoke, Vaughan, Concord, Scarborough, depending on your skill sets and location we will find the best placement which meets our clients and your needs.
Is our personal information safe with your company?
How much will I be making?
Salaries are based on the position, experience, and skill level required. Please be advised that minimum wage in Ontario is $11.25 per hour, the wages would start there for non-experienced labour staff, and go up accordingly.
Do you pay for overtime?
Yes after 44 hours.
What time of shifts do you offer?
This will depend on our client’s needs; we have all shifts including days, afternoons and overnight.
What equipment is needed when we report to a general labour job site?
Generally speaking, you must have CSA certified steel toe shoes for all assignments, however some client sites require additional equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, or hearing protection.
If I get a job position with your agency, can I also refer a friend to work at that same company?
Absolutely. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising. We hope that we can make your experience a positive one, and we would love for you to refer more people to us.
If I refer a friend do I get paid for it?
We currently do not have a referral program, but we may review that in the future based on the success of our referrals.
Do you have to have a car to work for this agency?
A vehicle is not mandatory, however it is an asset, as it allows you more mobility than someone without a vehicle.
Why do I have to wait a week to be paid?
Our payroll period is Sunday to Saturday, and we process our payroll on Monday.
Do you have medical positions?
We have several positions, and in order to be eligible, one must fully register their information.
Do you supply the safety shoes and glasses?
We sell safety shoes and safety glasses in our office.
Do the companies you send people to train them?
All our job sites will do training on site.
Do I get paid if I take a vacation?
We pay 4 percent vacation pay, which you have the option of accruing, or having it paid with each weekly cheque.

The Concord registration times are from 8am to 3pm Monday to Friday
Scarborough location is located at 2245 Kennedy Road, Unit 4, Scarborough, ON M1T 3G8
The Scarborough registration times are from 9am to 2pm Monday to Thursday.
Brampton location is located at 239 Queen Street East, Unit 6A Brampton, ON L6W 2B6 and at 350 Rutherford Rd. South, Brampton, ON L6W 4N6
Mississauga location is located at 75 Watline Ave., Unit #116, Mississauga, ON L4Z 3E5

Do all agencies pay different wages?
We can’t speak for other agencies, our wages are based on position, experience, and a vast array of other factors. Please be advised that minimum wage in Ontario is $11.40 per hour; we adhere to the legislation of the ESA.
What do I need to bring to register?
You will need to bring 2 pieces of Government ID an at least 1 Government Photo ID which include: A valid Social Insurance Number – If this number starts with the number 9 you must bring a work permit. Canadian Driver’s License Citizenship Passport Canadian Health Card Immigration Paper.
How soon can you find me work?
There is no specified time for when you will get a position. We fill positions with the best candidates available. Our match system is very precise, and the right candidate is matched to the right job. Once registered, we will determine your suitability for the jobs that we have
Do I have to work weekends?
Depending on the client, we have Monday to Friday, some shifts require Saturday’s and we also have Continental shift available, again we will match our clients’ needs with your own.
Do I need safety shoes?
They are a requirement for any Industrial type position.
Will I ever get an opportunity to become full time?
Depending on your Attendance, Performance and if our client is in a position to offer any Full-Time positions.
